We are pleased to announce that SVT Ltd is registered to deliver training for the LEP skills service.

 

 

 

 

 

The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has launched a service that provides skills support to small and medium-sized businesses. The LEP skills service helps businesses to identify their skills needs based on their business growth objectives and then find the right training solution. The training provision is employer-led, enabling businesses to design their own solutions and plug gaps in the market. Small and medium-sized business based in the Leeds City Region that has a budget to put towards training could also be eligible for funding of between £500 and £50,000. Who would qualify for funding?

There are some stipulations on what types of organisations would be eligible for funding of 50%. These are primarily based on your location and business sector.

You must be located in the Leeds City Region which includes these areas:

  • Craven
  • Harrogate 
  • York
  • Bradford
  • Leeds
  • Selby
  • Calderdale
  • Kirklees
  • Wakefield
  • Barnsley

As an organisation you must be involved in one of the following sectors:

  • Creative and Digital
  • Finance and Business
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Low Carbon and Construction
  • Manufacturing and Engineering
  • Transport and Logistics
  • Medical Technology

In addition to this, the LEP can provide financial funding towards training as long as you are:

Small or Medium-Sized Business

Employ fewer than 250 people

Annual turnover not exceeding £50m

Be able to contribute 50% of the cost

If you think that this could be you then you may be able to claim between £500 and £50,000 towards training.

City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety

City & Guilds NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice

ILM NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Management

ILM NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Management

ILM NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership

ILM NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership
