New business owners secure employment
The owner of a local training company has merged his existing company, SHEilds Vocational Training Ltd with a new venture that will provide Diploma level qualifications to students in Dubai and India. Safety Management & Vocational Training Ltd is the new International branch of the Grimsby based training company.
The Grimsby based company has secured contracts both in Dubai and Mumbai and will be recruiting additional staff to support the new venture. Managing Director Mandy Pickard is accepting applications for Assessors and Markers of Health & Safety NVQs and the relatively new Diplomas in Vocational Related Qualifications at levels 4 & 5 in leadership and management.
The majority of new staff will join a team of ten existing staff in Grimsby as the company has no plans to move its training centre to Dubai or Mumbai; however owner Mike Watson has secured Business Associates internationally who will support the students in those two new regions.
SHEilds Vocational Training Ltd has been providing NVQs throughout the UK for the past six years from their training centre in Grimsby and the move to a more international based company is seen as very positive.
